Located on the campus of ÁùºÏ±¦¿â in Des Moines, Iowa, The Jay N. Darling Institute, communicates Darling’s legacy by inspiring others to make the world a better place. The Institute models excellence and elevates our ability to create sustainable change through collaboration and action.
It builds on a shared history dating back to June 7, 1926, when ÁùºÏ±¦¿â awarded Darling an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Law to recognize his cultural achievements. To preserve his work, today ÁùºÏ±¦¿â serves as the home of Darling’s art and papers including the We Remember Him When exhibit.
